something for people to think about.
remember Daunte Wright?
the police officer THOUGHT she had a taser... killed him.
many folks on the right had all this sympathy for her, and
all cops everywhere because of her "mistake". And didn't think she should be charged with much of anything but an accidental discharge.
Even adding a solid dollop of blame on Dante Wright for "resisting"
(the logic seems to be , If untrained fearful 'civilians' would just do everything perfectly correct in all police encounters, then the well trained and over armed cops wouldn't kill so many people! of course! Or maybe, if all 'civilians' knew how to obey every law and understood that police will kill you for any real or perceived "disobedience" to random orders. they'd be killed less.)
I'm not sure why trained police officers get all the benny of the doubt in the world to the point of spreading blame the dead victims. (idol worship?) But it is what it is.
Look all I'm saying is that maybe the actress was resisting, i don't know, i wasn't there, neither were any of you. Being an Actor is a stressful job.
I know he should have been more responsible but... in the heat of the moment... accidents happen right. tragic but it comes with the job. People having guns pointed at them on set should be more on guard and help check the weapons. Accidents like this wouldn't happen so much I'm sure.
Poor Alex Baldwin, and People hate actors so much nowadays.
Why charge him for a crime when MORE WELL TRAINED cops get away with it?
With sympathy and condolences to the cops and not the victims family
