You're half way there. You're shortening your posts so that you're not giving those in charge the power to deem your effort as garbage if you don't put in much effort. Now the next step is to identify what triggers adverse action. As I mentioned before, non-participation sends a strong message when you don't like something. If too many "colorful characters" are managed out, the board just becomes a boring routine of copy-and-paste that doesn't generate much interest. Another hint: You personal observations are not subject to copyright requirements and there's no opportunity to hassle you for citations.
