Default The Most Dangerous Contrapion Ever Built

So, this was the 1949 version of a chainsaw.

This guy restored it beautifully, and then - of course - tested it out.

Imagine hauling this beast into the woods, starting it up, setting it to full throttle, picking it up and trying to fell a tree. I'd like to know how many people lost their legs or worse with this death machine!

Yeah, I'm a fan of modern chainsaws.

His test cut begins at 1:05:45

Default I used to be a fan of chain saws...a few days ago...

Only words I can think of for this one is...."HOLY CRAP!"
I may be older than most. I may say things not everybody will like.
But despite all of that. I will never lower myself to the level of Liars, Haters, Cheats, and Hypocrites.

The only way that thing could be worse is if it had a hit-and-miss engine.

Brave tinkerer discusses the big ideas which almost got him in BIGGER trouble

Colin hit the news last week when he unveiled a replica of the famous AT-AT walker from Star Wars.
The brave Brit inventor has also built a gravity-defying 360 degree swingand a homemade hoverbike, before managing to ride them both without coming to harm.
But not all of Colin's escapades have been incident-free.
In an interview with The Sun Online, Colin said fell in love with tinkering when he just a child.

"We used to burn asbestos on the fire to watch it explode," he said after we asked if he was a naughty kid.
"That's what I loved about my childhood: there was no health and safety. My YouTube channel is all about that."
The first of his incredible inventions was a swing built over a quarry near his home in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
"We were only about 12 and would tie shopping trolleys to it, before swinging out over a ravine," he remembered.

"My mum used to be terrified about what we were getting up to. Looking back, I think: 'I bet you were.'"

Colin built himself a nuclear bunker which should help him survive the apocalypseThe swing was Colin and his friends' secret until one day, a boy swung out over the chasm and lost his grip on the rope.
"This bloke couldn't hold his own weight, so fell off and dropped through all these trees," he recalled.
"He broke both arms and a leg and ripped an ear off.

"The owners of the quarry pulled the tree down after that, which was a damn shame."
Colin left school at 16 and was working as a plumber before discovering YouTube about 10 years ago and shooting to fame by riding a weedy looking motor scooter around his own self-built wall of death.
