Default Antonio Brown does it again

For awhile this nitwit was one of the greatest WR's in the NFL while playing for the Steelers. But who knew what issues were brewing underneath.

He basically quit on the Steelers during a playoff run and then demanded to be traded. Others should have seen this as a warning. Instead they saw the numbers and a great receiver.

Then he is off to the Raiders and John Gruden. They covered for him several times, but he ultimately quit on them too. He even tried to fist fight with the GM of the team. He was cut and he was thrilled about it.

Then after awhile and the help of Tom Brady, he then starts playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Plays or about a year. This year he had only 2 games left and was SO SO close to a few goals that would have earned him $333,333 apiece totaling about $1 million in all. But the Patriots held him out mostly yesterday due to health issues, due to his bad ankle. He disagreed and wanted this money. So he quit - took off his jersey, shirt and glove and tossed them into the stands as souvenirs and then walked across the field in a live game while tossing the peace sign to the crowd and just left. Bailed out.

He has played for 3 NFL teams and has quit on all 3 of them. He has defied any type of authority on all 3, and even more defiantly in his personal life. He obviously has more issues than that though. He needs help.

"There is no honor in quitting" - that's what his own brother said yesterday.

Then a day later he is claiming that it was him who chose to sit out and not play due to his bad ankle. Weird then how he quit mid game.

Obvious head case. I don't know anything about him other than last couple days, one thing for certain, it's not constructive behavior.

A shame too, I used to love the guy. I still do in a way, from the memories, but he obviously has mental issues that he refuses to acknowledge.

He is so self destructive and with proven losses and what his potential could have brought him, he has easily tossed tens of millions down the drain. And now this really has to be the last and his career is kaput. Folks on the Steelers tried to help him, Gruden and other players tried to help him, Brady took him into his house and helped get him signed to Tampa Bay... many on the inside. And just how many has he hurt in several ways outside of football? And just how many tried to help him?

He had every opportunity possible to succeed and every opportunity possible to get any help he may have needed. He ignored it all and knew better than all of them. And now he is done.

Can't help but feel bad he's so messed up. Can't help someone who doesn't want the help.
