The maddening part of this is, for me, the mewling bowing scraping boot licking media. Every one of the little scumbags that I have seen is beside themselves with “the Republicans just don’t seem to care about protecting voting rights” type rhetoric when they can’t even tell you what is in the bills. (You may have noticed by now that I have a particular dislike for the media. I know I have been so very coy about it but I do give off a few clues from time to time. LOL)

Worse to me are the Dem politicians trying with straight faces to sell "rights" as if they are doing anything but what you said: stacking the deck for themselves so they can't lose.
