I'm not surprised. I was actually wondering what the usual suspects were up to while everybody was watching Russia/Ukraine. The thought DID come to mind now would be a good time to attack us. Not clairvoyant. Just think of off the wall stuff while doing my close facsimilie of "running"

Question is, what are we going to do about it?

Hmmm ... aren't we a member of NATO? An attack on one is an attack on all? *insert dripping with ridicule and sarcasm here*

Not sure when Article V is invoked, it was for 9/11, but Bush said, not necessary, we'd handle.
As we all know, we did. Iraq and Afghanistan. Middle East. Unprovoked attack? Unsure how that all works.

If I'm not mistaken we had some NATO planes flying surveillance domestically after 9/11. I also thought Afghanistan was somehow NATO related...

In addition to participation in the war in Afghanistan, NATO’s response to the 9/11 attacks under Article 5 included Operation Eagle Assist, in which NATO aircraft helped patrol the skies over the United States for seven months between 2001 and 2002, and Operation Active Endeavour, in which NATO naval forces were sent to perform counterterrorism activities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Operation Active Endeavour, which began in October 2001 and later expanded to the entire Mediterranean region, didn’t conclude until 2016.

I don't know if under banner of NATO? UK, Canadians, Australia for sure had folks there. Germany assisted, but pretty sure no military.

    Quick look up regarding 9/11:

I'd like to know exactly who has access to military missiles in Iran. Here, that's not a big list. Neither would accounting for the missiles be.

Saw a 45 second newsbyte stating as many as 12 missiles landed "near" the US consulate in Iraq. Must not have done much damage in lives. Not seeing the MSM losing its mind of the "next big thing' like it usually does.

Iran is going to save Biden. If only EU lets them. Oil there, always preferable to oil here. Feeling good about greening.
