Good find, I didn't hear about this.
At first look it appears that it's only the DDG browser that's been deliberately compromised (sold out to MicroSoft), but I really doubt they'd stop taking bribes there.
I'll have to look into this more, but it seems DDG has sold their soul. Too bad, because the search engine was improving nicely.
But your Brave browser is still solid, as far as I know!
