Sounds about right. Liquid wrench and a lot of huffing and puffing just to get the corrosion to crack without destroying the chamber threads. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much more options for DIYs. Been my experience the rougher you get with it, the more stubborn it gets, and the greater the risk of some really costly damage becomes.

I would douse the F- out of it with the liquid wrench and let is sit a couple of days, liberally re-adding to the dousing every day.

Then I'd probably get mad and break it

I have no idea what the "cure" for an overpriced fee is.

Oh man, that is the worst. I am *REALLY* bad at mustering the patience required in order to extract something like that as well.

Wishing you the best of luck and hoping that the stupid things come out without damaging anything.

Default This may sound really STUPID and DUMB to you but..

Back in the 50's when I was still young. My father had a friend who knew six, and eight cylinder engines like they were toys.
My father had a 1948 Ford Coup, Six cylinder flat head and I do remember how he got a SEIZED spark plug out after taking the other 5.

This is where it will sound STUPID, but it worked.
He put the other plugs back. Put the wires from the Distributor back on each one, and told my Dad to start it up.
He later explained how turning it over changed the COMPRESSION after he removed all of the cables to the plugs, and just turned each one OUT without any problem.
HONESTLY...it worked. But after so many years, and with the newer cars being computer controlled...WHAT CAN IT HARM?

Just an old guy trying to help.
I may be older than most. I may say things not everybody will like.
But despite all of that. I will never lower myself to the level of Liars, Haters, Cheats, and Hypocrites.

    Default Success !!!

A 18 inch breaker bar and a slightly warm engine.

They were still tight but it's done! Until next time anyway.
