    Default Covid here too

I see @Gunny is dealing with it at his home and the same here. Wifey has/had it, now 2 other kiddos in the house. I'm the only one safe so far. But I didn't feel too great for a few days and haven't tested since. Damn tests disappeared quickly! So I really don't know if I had or not.

My nephew just left for back to Georgia and we tested him and his gf just prior and all good to go for them. Was a loooooong and busy week for me showing them all around Manhattan, Bronx, Queens and a lot of Westchester too. And family in NJ.

    I'm tired now.

Hope everyone's okay. It's a pain in the ass to me. I hear ya. I'm too tired to give a rat's ass about catching it at the moment. If I do, looks to me like I get banished to my room for a week and I'm not seeing the downside to that

Both Shar and I had it a month ago. It wasn't pleasant but I've been much sicker with flu & colds.

The weird part of Covid for me was the after / side effects. I was almost lethargic for 3 weeks after getting over it, and then for about 2 weeks the left side of my mid/upper back was super sensitive to anything touching my skin. My shirt touching it was almost unbearable.

So now I'm vaxxed AND naturally vaxxed.

Woke in the middle of the night feeling like a dog, like I did when I got my first shot. Back pain too. And still feel crappy as hell. Will wait til later when we have more kits to test myself but with all things considered, I think I may have it now too.

That's on par with what my daughter said. Her big thing was taste. She couldn't taste a thing.

Any time I'm around it I second guess my sinus and allergy symptoms, Haven't ended up sick yet, knock on wood. Being sick inconveniences me

I had covid in October. Biggest problem for me wasn't coughing ... it was the taste of everything. Everything tasted rotten. I would try to eat something and I would gag and puke. I couldnt even drink water. I lost over 10 lbs in a week (which I can definitely afford, but it all came back just as rapidly, ugh). I couldn't even drink water without gagging and throwing up. Had to go to doctor and get an IV for dehydration.

Also got IV bag of vitamins and electrolytes. After that, for about a week, everything taste wise was enhanced. Salty was too salty. Same thing for sweet , sour, spicy ... so had to put up with that but at least I could get nourishment into my body. Also did the ivermectin protocol which shortened the duration of covid.

And then 2 months later my hair started falling out as if I had gone through chemo. Lasted 2 months and lost more than half the volume. And then one day it just stopped.

Now I'm back to normal and naturally vaccinated.

    This whole covid thing sucks!

I was dead for a few days and then lingering headache and now sapped of all evergy. Walking downstairs and back up here wipes me out. First night was worst though as I had a severe headache and then throwing up and constant sweating. And of course everything aches and still does.

Gonna take another test tonight to see if I am still contagious or not. CDC says really only needs 5 days and that's tonight.

Damn, so tested again last night and no need to wait the 15 minutes it says to possibly show results.

Still positive and it came back within 3 minutes.

Ugghh. Yeah, still awfully fatigued but also getting tired of the same air and same views in my room.

I think I'm about out of the woods now, finally. I thought originally that after I finally tested negative after 8 days that I was done, but boy was I wrong. Shaky legs, insomnia, 5 day headache & horrid fatigue. Just kept at it with daily vitamins and pedialyte and another drink like it, and eating a little at a time. Finally have a little normal energy the past few days.

I hope I never get that shit again!

You're about the third recent case that I know of personally where they've had a tougher bout of covid than I think many were having a few months ago. Now go take four shmears of ivermectin and go back to bed.

I'm trying to do more outside the past few days to wear myself out, so no naps!

There's one strain out there that is now on the 5th version or whatever, and supposed to be harsher, so I think that's what I may have had. I know that the 2nd half aside, those first 2-3 days were brutal with the migraines and throwing up and tossing and turning and sweating.

Nope, no more of that shit for me! I have like 3 months of immunity thanks to just having it, then after that I am staying home until a real vaccine comes out!
