Default A Convention Of States And Amending The Constitution

This has never been presented in a way that I paid much attention to it. It's not really a crackpot idea -- it's legal. What really caught my attention is should this come about (I'm not as optimistic as timcast) it definitely should scare the crap out of the bureaucracy in DC.

It IS a way the states can overrule DC. It also explains the side of the States v the People appointing Senators. Still not sure which is the worse end of that stick.

ANyway, I found it an interesting listen.

Didn't watch it but we're nowhere near "extremely close." And it's never been done this way.

30 years ago, I was a hard-charging, gung ho jarhead transitioning between the First Gulf War and Drill Instructor School. If you had tried to tell me then that this Nation would be what it has become today, I would have said "Never happen". Since, I have learned to NEVER say "never".

No, it has not been done this way before. I would agree the odds are astronomical that it happen this way. For one, you would have to educate the general public on basic government at least to the 10 grade level from when I was in 10th grade, not current 10th/3rd grade. Then you'd have to get them to agree on something beyond the price of gas.

What the possibility presents is possibility and hope, both fleeting these days. It presents a legal and nonviolent means to slap that tyrannical rats nest in DC back into its place -- representing and working for the People and the Nation instead of itself.

I was impressed with the video. Maybe you should have at least looked As much as what was discussed, I was impressed by the fact there are young people with brains who understand government and can have a round table discussion on a topic without appealing to emotion. They discussed the facts.

I would say that "even if" states came close to any such thing, it would go onto Biden's terror watch list so fast and Congress would be scurrying to remove said option. These what I call "kids" are probably already on it.
