"If we have nothing to hide, we have nothing to worry about." Perhaps true once. Seems to me now, you have to be able to prove your innocence at all times or false accusations can destroy you one way or the other.

I don't remember exactly how many decades ago I started calling the IRS "the Gestapo", or a Us Government subsidized via taxpayer funding terrorist organization. And they don't need an excuse. If you're a taxpayer, they get you. If you don't pay your taxes, they get you.
