    Default Sofia Coppola

Does anyone else love her movies?

As much as I thought Marie Antoinette would be a chick flick, it really wasnt. It was amazing direction, perfect music selections, and really great acting.
The thing that I like about the music is that she uses a lot of stuff from the 80's that makes the movie so creative. It isn't all classical music.
    Trailer:

Heres a really good clip where theres 80's music (the strings are just an intro):
    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7X9HojJ6N5I"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7X9HojJ6N5I" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I highly reccomend you guys see this one.

Or her other movie The Virgin Suicides is really good:

I like that movie a lot and I did'nt really think that I would.

How could I not? With Marianne Faithful as Maria Theresa and Rip Torn as Lois XV, what's not to like?

Marie Antoinette was really good, and that's coming from someone who absolutely hates period pieces. Sofia Coppola is one of the best young filmmakers working today. Virgin Suicides was outstanding, and though I get flamed everytime I mention this, I LOVED Lost in Translation.
