Georgia sheepdog fights off, kills 8 coyotes after pack attacks his sheep

Anybody that would put this dog to sleep needs to have a needle stuck in their own arm. It's a crying shame we have to live vicariously through animal stories like this. When people protect like this they are vilified by one side, and left hung out to dry on their own by the other.

He was put back together and is doing quite well now. His tail had to be amputated though. He did exactly what LSG are bred to do. Protect the herd from predators.

We have coyotes at our back fence several times a day to use our watering station and roaming all over our property here. Illegal to shoot them. Pets are not safe here because they will jump our fence if they want. Plus we have bobcats and mountain lions in the yard at times.
