Former Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts tapped to fill Sasse’s Senate seat
I'm always annoyed when Republicans pull this crap. I admit I could care less how many Dems quitNow we're getting an appointee instead of an elected Senator.
On one hand, it shows where Sasse's loyalty lies -- with himself, not the people. On the other hand, I can't really blame him for wanting to GTFO of DC, Republican't politics.
The GOP is just plain dysfunctional.

Clarification: Sasse pulling this walking out crap to his own benefit when every seat counts. It's his choice. I disagree with it.
