I agree on uninvited incursions into Mexico.
On the other hand, I have absolutely zero issue with manning the sovereign, US Southern border with US military personnel from San Ysidro to Brownsville. Hardly an unprecedented move. Those cartels are as well-armed as any paramilitary forces.
I also have zero problem with using the same rule at the Border police use when in pursuit across jurisdictional lines within the US. As long as the chase is on, it's on. Run them to ground. Every illegal south of the Rio Grande knows all they have to do is reach the river and they won't be pursued. They game it.
Honestly, there is ZERO real point/necessity for those border towns to begin with. The main purpose for their existence is exploitation, in BOTH directions.
