If I was asked, NBC "did it". Doesn't matter which stooge pushed the button. Stooges don't make corporate policy, they just carry it out.

I don't even remember the last time I've seen network TV. They pander to garbage.

It was not edited during the broadcast on television, only on the NBC X account.

For the record, C.J. Stroud was not bothered by it...

“I’m not angry about it,” the Texans quarterback told Complex. The publication asked Stroud if he had any feelings towards NBC after the network removed the reference. “I wish that it wasn’t that, but, you know, I pray for people and I think God has called us to love one another through thick and thin, mistakes or success..."

Hell, he's probably more bothered by people using for their social media fodder, left vs. right, them vs. us bullshit than the edit...

That's great that he wasn't bothered about it.
    It's a very Christian take.

But it's still a crap move on NBCs part.

I take his not being bothered by it with a grain of salt. What other politically correct thing could he have to say without bringing a avalanche of Woke, cancel culture and sensationist MSM down on his and his family's heads?

Have to pick and choose your battles and some aren't worth fighting.

Bet if he was praising Allah they aforementioned would be falling all over themselves to commend him
