Default Atheist Version of what happening after the crucifixion

There are those who just don't believe and go on about their business of living this life. I can respect that without agreeing with it. It does me no harm.

Regarding the former, seems to me going so far as to have an organized religion based around disbelieving in Christianity smacks a WHOLE LOT of insecurity and going to extreme lengths to declare themselves right. answering to a higher authority is inconvenient to the conscience of those that wish to do whatever they please without consequence.

umm, ok... Why does making light of atheist ideas about Christianity bother you?

    I thought it was funny.
To see acted out what some atheist have told me "really" probably happened.

I've known a few atheist, most of them are cool, and the conversations respectful enough both ways but this is the kinda thing they propose.
You try to point out why it sounds ridiculous and it literally falls on deaf ears.
this puts a point on it IMO.

I think you know I've got a fairly tough skin and take most abuse without a problem. So atheist and other religions don't "bother me" I just think they are FALSE. and the ideas cause people to go to... miss heaven.

I literately thought this was funny.

hopefully no atheist will take offense here.

I know some people like to tip toe around religious issues not to cause offense.
but the reason i became a Christian is because people took the time to confront me about "religious issues". Not just because Christians lived a nice life in front of me.
they explained to me what the bible said, and where i was mistaken.

so, forgive me if I'm off putting about the subject.
    But He Changed my life.
I tend to want to talk about Him from time to time. and want others to have a better understanding as well.
It's my understanding that the Consequences of being wrong on this issue are extreme.

It does not bother me. Just curious.

We have a different view when it comes to confronting people on religion.

    et al,

An atheist denies the existence or reality of a Deity (God) that represents the "First Cause," the "Creator of all Things," the "Ultimate Intelligent Power of the Universe," or the "Supreme Being."

An "Agnostic" professes ignorance pertaining to any of the aforementioned concepts (existence).

Is it really possible for each member of the masses (you and me) to grasp the motif and understand the meaning of the religious specific words such that we can a formal debate?

YES! This thought (brought to our attention by Kathianne) is probably as valid today as it was in the time of the 25th Century BC Egyptian God "Ra" (the Sun God).

Very true, especially regarding toilet paper placement.

My interpretation is it relates to wasting one's time on deaf ears.
