The syndrome, yes. For a couple years though, govt has Been denying of obscufating the facts, as CBS points out.

This is really the MSM for once saying the govt has purposefully lied and covered up a foreign attack on US soil.

The government doesn't like to pay. They finally in the past year or so decided to pay up for those affected by contaminated drinking water at Camp Lejeune. They begrudgingly cracked open the coin purse in an extremely limited fashion for Gulf War Syndrome.

They don't have a problem with there being a problem per se. Just don't hold them accountable. Your tax dollars are spent on more important things like DEI and trying to strongarm people into EVs the grid it has yet to address (again, costs the government) can't support.

When it comes to Federal government employees, we don't figure out until it's too late they're going to drag their feet hoping you'll die and the problem goes away.

Not sure what is up with CBS pointing fingers and naming names. Wait for the retraction and apology?

Like Gunny said, gov't hates paying out for it's own mistakes, where this goes a step further from original Cuba embassy type reports to attacks on US streets. The links to Russia are important too, and again something beyond the speculation I've seen previously.

Not a CBS fan. However, first sentence states "5 year investigation". While I am sure not by design given the nature of the beast, not jumping to foregone conclusion from the get-go is rather refreshing.

Yep, some facts as opposed to mere speculation. There are those though that speculation is a new form of higher thinking. That is just hubris of course.

I suppose you can understand the assumption that you seemed to be saying there was nothing new here, just an MSM outlet plagiarism from better sources. In act, whether by better skills or resources, CBS along with others investigated over years and brought up facts that had not been previously known though suspected.

Does that work for any accusation? I'll wait for the investigation, thanks. Notable with conspiracy theorists is that an accusation from them is gospel and good enough to convict; yet, no amount of facts, evidence, logic and/or common sense is ever enough to prove them wrong.

What it means is the conspiracy theories, if there were any, coincidentally got one right. Clock's right twice a day.
