Damned Uncooperative Cat

She's not going along with the program.

I could be wrong. I haven't had a cat that was my cat since I was 15. I don't recall when she got fixed her having a cone on her head and all this pain medication. That latter having to be administered by me 3 times a day. Ever try to get a cat to take a pill?

She gets her pill, then goes to banging her cone stumbling around all over the place. They don't tell you the weird crap you need for a cat to be able to get food and water with that stupid thing on. The cone won't let her get her face in bowls.

Then she takes her stoned ass into the closet, gets on her box and I don't see her until the meds start to wear off. My cat's going to be an addict

I'm not a pet person. They're a responsibility and people who can't handle or don't want the responsibility shouldn't have them. God saw me coming with this one. Was Christmas time before last and we were in the 20s for a couple of weeks and here wanders up this ball of fur that could fit in a teacup. I was fine with tossing her food on the porch. She had to go into heat. The choice was take care of one cat or end up with a half-dozen. She surely wasn't going to wander off never to be seen again to have kittens
