Default The Season Of The Crazies, When Will It End?

Violent Indian for Palestine? When even the Palestinian protestors try to distance themselves, you've probably gone a step too far:

    (April 12, 2024 / JNS)
Police in Bakersfield, Calif., charged an anti-Israel protester with 16 felonies after she threatened to murder the mayor and city council members at a council meeting on Wednesday.

Riddhi Patel, 28, spoke twice to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and in opposition to a proposal to install metal detectors and other security measures in the central California city.

“I’m here to speak in support of the city council introducing a ceasefire resolution,” she said. “I don’t have faith that you’ll do this. You’re all horrible human beings, and Jesus would have probably killed you himself.”

Patel claimed that while council members “parade” the legacy of India’s nonviolent independence leader Mahatma Gandhi, she believes in violence during the ongoing Hindu holiday of Chaitra Navratri.

“I remind you that these holidays that we practice, that other people in the global south practice, believe in violent revolution against their oppressors, and I hope one day somebody brings a guillotine and kills all of you,” she said, using an expletive.

Local media reported that anti-Israel protesters have been speaking at city council meetings in Bakersfield for weeks, but the conclusion of Patel’s second set of remarks crossed the line into an apparent criminal threat.

“You guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors. We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you,” she said.

Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh, a Republican, initially called for the next speaker but then said that Patel had made a threat and that police officers would respond.

“Ms. Patel, that was a threat, what you said at the end, and so the officers are going to escort you out and take care of that,” Goh said.

Patel faces 16 felony counts of threatening and threatening with intent to terrorize, one for each of the seven city council members and the mayor, The Bakersfield Californian reported.

She is being held in jail in lieu of $2 million bail and is due to be arraigned in court on Friday. As of Thursday, the Kern County district attorney had yet to charge her, the daily newspaper reported.

The United Liberation Front, an anti-Israel group that proposed the ceasefire motion that Patel supported, denounced her in a statement on Instagram on Wednesday.

“United Liberation Front unequivocally condemns any statements that threaten public officials,” it stated. “The comments in question made tonight by a speaker run counter to our values and do not represent United Liberation Front.”

While other anti-Israel protesters at the city council meeting did not threaten council members, they appeared to believe that the purpose of local government was to acknowledge residents’ views about foreign affairs rather than to fix infrastructure.

“I don’t think one time in the past five sessions I’ve been here that all of you have collectively looked at me at the same time, but yet you respond to people when they talk about trees and stop lights,” said Gabby, who did not provide a surname. “You won’t respond to any of us who have friends, family members who are in Palestine.”

Despite the disruption from Patel, council members were soon able to resume and spent most of the rest of the meeting discussing parking and zoning requirements. On Thursday, they passed the metal detectors and security measures.
I like the cut of that mayor's jib. Understating...

    and in court, she cries:

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — A protestor who threatened to "murder" Bakersfield City council members on Wednesday made their first court appearance on Friday afternoon. Riddhi Patel, 28, was seen crying during the arraignment.

Patel was escorted out of the city council meeting on Wednesday after they threatened council members with death who were weighing a Gaza ceasefire resolution.

Patel said, "I remind you that these holidays that we practice, that other people in the global south practice, believe in violent revolution against their oppressors and I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you motherf ------."

Patel also said to council members:

In the last five years I’ve attended city council meetings there’s never been metal detectors, there’s never been more cops,” Patel said. “The only reason you’re doing it is because people actually don’t care if you guys don’t like them and they’re actually resisting so you’re trying to criminalize them.
We’ll see you at your house," they added. "We’ll murder you.
Mayor Karen Goh then responded to Patel: “That was a threat, what you said at the end, so officers are going to escort you out and take care of that.”

Patel was booked on 16 felony charges, many of them related to threatening with intent to terrorize and threatening city council staff. Patel remained in jail on a $1 million bond.

Patel is due to back in court on April 16.

Hamas in Higher Ed aka When University Psychiatrists Are the PsychosBEEGE WELBORN 8:00 PM | April 12, 2024

    Josh Mayfield/Twitter
On the 25th of February this year, a young Air Force airman who'd grown up in a religious cult, (then broke free "trading one high control group for another high control group" - the Air Force) gave away his cat and his fridge full of rootbeer. He had already texted his closest friend to apologize and say he would miss him. He sent the buddy a copy of his will and got his livestream fired up.

Twelve minutes later, Aaron Bushnell was a flaming human tiki torch in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., engaging in an "extreme act of protest" while shouting he would "no longer be complicit in genocide."

The 25-year-old would die of his horrific, self-inflicted injuries, what had to surely be an excruciating seven hours later.

There was nothing right about this. There was nothing remotely heroic about a deeply troubled young man doing such ghastly harm to himself for any reason, less mind for so unworthy, contemptible, and easily refutable a cause.

The tragedy is that his mind was so malleable that he believed it was.

Bushnell instantly became a martyr to the Hamas supporters. Their new poster boy.

Bushnell's fiery but peaceful suicide proved "inspiring," as yet another weak-minded military member went on a "hunger strike" (while on leave, of course) for Gaza. Airman Herbert seems inordinately fond of cameras, though, and egged on by his new Code Pink friends, has also confronted Air Force brass about Gaza, hunger, and "genocide."

    Can you imagine?

The Air Force let him do his virtue signaling unmolested as long as he stayed in front of the White House and on leave. Bringing that act and your new friends to harass the brass? Dude. The Air Force general owns you.

They told Herbert to knock the Schlitz off and get back to work. Consider your leave canceled, pinhead, and get a cheeseburger at the chowhall.

At least he didn't use a Zippo and lighter fluid in his eagerness to make the evening news and court progressive social media. Herbert's not fatally dedicated to the fiction of Palestinian genocide. Plus, he's got a good medical plan to take care of any "hunger strike" side effects. Self-immolation? Pfft.

    That would be crazy.

    Or it used to be.

See, the lovely adherents of the Hamas Death Cult have infiltrated not just campus greens and liberal arts classrooms. If only. They're even bringing their macabre definition of self-fulfillment into medical school lectures for psychiatrists.

Lighting your less-than-mentally-stable self off like a Roman candle in the name of a hateful ideology and fanciful genocide narrative isn't crazy, these experts in the field lecture attendees and med students.

It's "revolutionary suicide," and, by gum, it's "martyrdom."

    How 'bout them apples?

I didn't make that up, either - the shrinks themselves said so.

UCLA medical school’s psychiatry department hosted a talk earlier this month that glorified self-immolation as a form of "revolutionary suicide," raising concerns from prominent doctors and deepening a public relations crisis that has embroiled the elite medical school.

...Bushnell had shown signs of mental distress before he died, according to a police report, and was widely seen as a casualty of mental illness. The presentation argued he could also be considered a "martyr," a man in full control of his mental faculties who had responded rationally to a "genocide" unfolding thousands of miles away.

"Yes, he carried a lot of distress," Izar said, according to audio of the talk reviewed by the Free Beacon. "But does that mean the actions he engaged in are any less valid?"

Isn’t it normal, she continued, "to be distressed when you’re seeing this level of carnage" in Gaza?

See? The two women psychiatrists (UCLA psychiatry residents Drs. Ragda Izar and Afaf Moustafa) involved in this cesspool of supposition aren't denying Bushnell had issues. What they are disputing is what caused his issues - their contention is distress over genocide in Gaza, not, like, actual mental illness - and that causality is what justified his actions; ergo, he wasn't crazy.

    He was a martyr.

Not only was he rational, these two argued, but he could well be a trendsetter.

    Wouldn't that be great?

It's once again the oppressive patriarchy that says human torching is crazy Schlitz, when you should be able to do whatever you feel like.

There should be no stigma attached to going out in flames. How else could someone possibly make their point?

...At UCLA, Izar and Moustafa, who are practicing psychiatrists, argued that self-immolation is a reasonable response to geopolitical events and that the taboo against it serves "the interests of power." By "perpetuating the stigma of self-immolation," they said, psychiatrists "discredit" resistance to "power structures" like "colonization," "homophobia," and "white supremacy," framing legitimate acts of protest as signs of psychiatric dysfunction.

These are two sick, twisted chicas, let me tell you.

I can see them in a classroom of 6-year-olds in Gaza, doing their martyr schtick. Then again, the perqs and the pay are much, MUCH better in a Western university filled with the braindead, spoiled spawn of rich infidels.

We've managed all this time to do without greasy pools of ashes left on city streets from charred carcasses, and I'd like to think it's because we're better than that. We don't encourage hurting yourself - in fact, blame the patriarchy if you want, but we cherish life. As Aaron says in his terrific coverage of this ghastly lecture, a bedrock psychiatric principle has been not to glorify self-harm.

...The talk reflects the erosion of what was until recently a bedrock medical norm: From the American Psychiatric Association to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, all professional mental health bodies warn against glorifying self-harm, lest it inspire others to harm themselves.

Yet, here come the anti-Semitic sisters of self-destruction in the name of their cause, touting martyrdom benefits for the mentally ill.

I liked the world better when doctors took care of people instead of using and grooming them as ideological foot soldiers in an undeclared war.

I never thought we'd see that third-world death cult mentality TAUGHT here.

Western values are priceless. Worth defending and cleaving to, for all we're worth.

...I will soothe the pain of anyone who needs my art, and if I don’t know how, I will seek the counsel of my teachers.

I will offer those who suffer all my attention, my science and my love. Never will I betray them or risk their wellbeing to satisfy my vanity. I will not hurt my fellow or put a knife to his flesh if I don’t know how, or give him an herb to soothe his pain, even if he begs for it in anguish, if it might take away his breath...

    I like that much better.

People have to have the courage to purge the dark hearts among us, and they have to do it now.
