    Checking out maps at the site TM posted on the other thread. interesting to see who is responsible for more death in wars.

    A little quick but accurate. One point that is not made is the nations and territory involved in the wars. An example might be the war of independence was between the British and the colonies with France aiding the colonies. Fought on colonial soil.

    It's a bit misleading to say that Democrats or Republicans are "responsible" for the deaths of soldiers in all of those wars. The War Between the States and WWII, for two, were wars a long time in coming, and it's not like those Presidents picked those fights.
