Crap, not only can I not beat that, I have no snappy wise crack to come back with.

It's good that you feel that way about your brother. I can barely stand to be in the same room with my back stabbing, manipulative, lazy, gold digging sister. But I do love her!

There were times when on or the other got on my nerves but as they grew up and solidified their lives I have to say my 7 brothers and sisters are all very good, decent , funny people to be arround. My husbands best friends are my siblings and their spouses. They all married very decent people who fit right in. His brother and he have known my bros and sis's since the 70s and all are old buds.

“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

Thanks for the kind words though. There is nothing as sweet as a new baby in the family.
Did I catch a bit of defensiveness in that comment? Are we feeling our age?

What's wrong with being a grandma?

Hehe, welcome back TM. I too had wondered where you had disappeared to?

That's what we hope for in our siblings and our children.

Hey Immie my man. I tried hard not to put that feeling in there but I could not think of how to avoid it. I am turning 50 next month and feel GREAT about it. I feel like a hobbit. I think we are not fully grown up until 50. 5 of my bros and sis's are older than me so it doesnt feel old to me. It is good to be home though.
