Advertisements with the usual pathetic lack of class and dignity. No wonder so many of you are attracted to them.

When I marry-into-money some day, I'll pick up this set:

there are better speakers for less money.....wood box design is an inferior material for speakers.......

Nothing wrong with small boobs if the rest of your works.
And I would much rather have a man with a small penis than a small brain. For all the bragging about penis size on this forum, too bad the brain size is usually inverse to such.

These have been my favorite speakers for quite some time. I got a chance to audition a pair in Phoenix a few years back... http://legacyaudio.com/focusmain.html I've never heard a better sounding speaker in my life. Legacy does have bigger and more expensive speakers, but that's all they are, bigger and more expensive.

The next time I upgrade my speakers from my Infinity Betas, it'll be those.

I did recently upgrade my receiver from the Sony STR DE-885 to the new Pioneer VSX-1017TXV with 7.1 channel surround at 140 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms. It's also THX Select2 certified. But, I'm not sure if I like it yet. I was able to bi amp my front left and right Beta 50's with the the back two unused channels. That was a nice feature. It also has the auto set up where you place a microphone where you sit, and it sets itself up. I didn't like it, and the tone controls are convoluted and inadequate. Also, if you go through it with your HDMI to the TV, you have to hook up a seperate either digital or optical cable for sound. That's dumb, when audio is included on HDMI. I think I may be trading if off for a Pioneer Elite, if I stay with Pioneer. Otherwise it's going to be Denon.

The '78 speakers use a passive diaphragm to greatly reduce pressure inside the box. Besides, 3/4" pressboard deflects less than 20 gauge steel. There is no distortion, at least up to the rated wattage, which I recall is about 150 and louder than I care to listen too.

Speakers against the wall reflect the bass against the wall. Upolstered furniture absorbs it. This is a frickin' den not a sound lab.

The lamps are heavy brass and don't rattle. I don't listen to music at 150 db anyway since it scares the dog.

My old speaks have high dome tweeters that give excellent sound dispersion. The fact that you can hear both at nearly every position in the room is why I shelled out over 3 bills back then.

Not for a home theatre...no way.

In a theatre I'm looking for dynamic music - not necessarily the most-accurate reproduction type speakers.

Where what? I haven't shown any passive radiators. I was just talking about them.

Honey - you KNOW you wish you had legs like hers. I'd say MOST women would like legs like that. Pull that stick out of your ass and relax a little bit, aight? it's funny how the first person to comment on the chick in the pic was YOU - we were all talkin' about SPEAKERS.

Can't pass a thread by without thinking you are better than others and throwing out insults?

I thought I saw you condemning others for looking at porn in another thread, and pointing out that your hubby doesn't do such things. Many of us like seeking out an alternate reality sometimes where we can imagine ourselves doing things to a woman that our spouses would never let us do to them. You know, golden showers, pearl necklace, stick it in the leather cheerio, dirty sanchez...

I'm glad to know that your hubby has found such acts at home and has no need to watch porn!

Need I say more?” - Chris Rock

That's correct. That's why they say to keep your speakers at least a foot from the wall, and if you want to deaden your room, add curtains, carpet, furniture, etc..
