Default No More Economic Aid For U.s. Campuses

That indoctrinate their students and dont provide adequate security on their campuses for all political events, whether the school hosts them or not.

They have a responsibility ON THEIR PROPERTY, to protect the first amendment.

And be a campus of higher learning, not having their professors indoctrinate their students

When I was in college you were required to think on your feet. Perhaps the lack of conservatives coming out of college has more to do with the ideals than the platform? In short the conservative rhetoric does not make the cut for the thinking mind.

Please do explain! You sound like a flaming idiot.

America was founded as a conservative nation and liberals are trying to redefine it into something away from what made it great.

Please do explain yourself in detail.

I do believe Jefferson said something about the tree of liberty needing to be trimmed every once in a while, not a tree of conservatism.

America was founded as a very Libertarian nation, which used to be called Conservative (People like Barry Goldwater).

People that call themselves "Conservative" nowadays do not understand what true conservatism means.
"I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C" and "D." Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me? - Barry Goldwater

The Constitution was conservative in the sense that it limited the control of the government to be....Which in turn gave Liberty, and Freedom to the People....imo.

Typical statements by those who have chosen not to extend their education. Pol Pot was against higher education as well. His idea was to wipe out anyone who possessed intelligence.
Obviously the Bush apologists want to do the same.

Getting back to the facts, American campuses are proven bastions of liberal indoctrination. Freedom of speech and tolerance as professed by liberals in college means only if you espouse liberal opinions and beliefs, and demonstrated by liberals to still hold true here on this board. Try purporting CONSERVATIVE views and beliefs on a campus here in America as a student, and you'll fail your class and be openly castigated in class by your militant liberal professor.

You're right anm... fuck these colleges.

I think you pretty much pinned it... check out this link and take note of Section 16... http://www.nationalcenter.org/VirginiaDeclaration.html

    Conservatism according to Encarta
Conservatives advocated belief in faith over reason, tradition over free inquiry, hierarchy over equality, collective values over individualism, and divine or natural law over secular law. At a given time in a given society, conservatism emphasizes the merits of the status quo and endorses the prevailing distribution of power, wealth, and social standing. Political conservative thought, however, has reconciled itself with constitutional democracy and individual rights as well as with prudent and orderly social and economic change.

Conservatism received its classic formulation in the works of the British statesman Edmund Burke, notably his Reflections on the Revolution in France (1790), in which he rejected the principles of the French Revolution and presented a comprehensive philosophy of society and politics. Burke viewed society as an organic whole, with individuals performing various roles and functions. In this society a natural elite-by virtue of birth, wealth, and education-is supposed to provide the leadership. The community is held together by venerable customs and traditions; gradual changes can be made, but only when they have gained wide acceptance.

    "Conservatism," Microsoft® Encarta® Encyclopedia 99. © 1993-1998 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

While Edmond Burke's writings reflect conservatism theory George Mason shared these values when writing the VA Bill of Rights.

Please note the basic constitution reflects the exact conservative thinking in bold above. While much of these ideas stem from the French Revolution to fully understand why Burke and Mason found these individual rights so important you have to understand what caused the French Revolution... It was the state of France in contract with the Catholic Church that was together oppressing and taxing the people to almost abject poverty as the King and the Church rolled in gold.
