Louis Gossett Jr was excellent in role. He acted and looked like a Marine Drill Instructor. He was as good a hat as R. Lee Ermy from Full Metal Jacket. R Lee Ermy was like MY Drill Instructors. When I was one, we were like Gossett. And I've dealt with more than one recruit like "Mayo-nnaise".
