I don't know if there is a thread like this elsewhere on the site, but I've been thinking about some goals of mine that I'd like to achieve in life. Some things, big and small, that I'd like to do or learn before I die.
1. Achieve peak physical fitness for atleast a short time. Stamina, muscle, diet, etc. Maybe run in a local triathlon or three.
2. Learn jujitsu or some other martial art.
3. Participate in an archaeological excavation.
4. Learn and be fluent in a foreign language or three.
5. Live on the West Coast. (This one may happen soon actually.)
6. Scale a mountain or volcano.
7. Build a house. (I've already almost finished renovating one.)
8. Go back to school for a higher degree than just Bachelor's. Maybe actually study for the LSAT this time
9. Catch a Marlin.
10. Learn to weld.
11. Restore an old Porsche.
12. Embark on a cross country motorcycle journey--see the sights.
I think these are doable and not too far-fetched. What about you guys? Do any of ya'll have a list like this and have you fulfilled any of the things on it yet?
