    Default Movie Scores

I have re-watched The Lord of The Rings - Return of The King,
and this powerful score sends tingles up my spine:

I have lost my mind. If found, please give it a snack and return it?

"I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same of others"...John Wayne in "The Shootist"

    A Deplorable!

    Not a score...but related:

Great themes In Lord of the Rings.
the Last Mohican is powerful as well.
Movie Scores are some of my favorite music.

I really love good orchestral scores...especially the strong
    brass and percussion.

The best part of the Last of the Mohicans is the score. Well, and the tomahawk fights. Yhe novel is boring as Hell and bears little resemblance to the movie. They've even got a Clannad song in it (I Will Find You). Not to mention the scenery at Chimney Rock State Park in NC. One of my favorite movies and I DO have the musical score on CD. (Used to be on cassette.)

My all- time favorite film score was Barber's Adagio For Strings in Platoon. While not an original piece to the movie, it was the most evocative pairing of music and action I've ever heard.
After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box - Author unknown

I would have killed Barnes. He reminded me too much of me. Except I knew where to draw the line. He didn't.

I love Viet Nam war movies, but the acting in Platoon was my favorite. Superb all around, and the book was even better.
