A colleague compiled the following stats and I have edited for brevity.
The deaths of 13 soldiers is tragic, but the deaths of 999 soldiers (since OBL was killed and we have no reason to be in Afghanistan) is many times more so.
Year - US Soldiers
2001 - 7 Soldiers killed
2002 - 30 Soldiers killed
2003 - 33 Soldiers killed <-- Mission Accomplished Banner
2004 - 49 Soldiers killed
2005 - 93 Soldiers killed
2006 - 88 Soldiers killed
2007 - 111 Soldiers killed
2008 - 153 Soldiers killed
2009 - 310 Soldiers killed
2010 - 496 Soldiers killed
2011 - 412 Soldiers killed <-- OBL killed
2012 - 301 Soldiers killed
2013 - 120 Soldiers killed
2014 - 54 Soldiers killed
2015 - 22 Soldiers killed
2016 - 14 Soldiers killed
2017 - 17 Soldiers killed
2018 - 15 Soldiers killed
2019 - 22 Soldiers killed
2020 - 9 Soldiers killed
2021 - 13 Soldiers killed
Total - 2342 Soldiers killed
More than 1,700 died in Obama's years. About 1/2 of 1 % of all soldiers were killed in Afghanistan under Bidens watch. If the trend had continued until 2024, it would be 52/2381, which would be 1.7% of soldiers.
If we look at numbers since the war lost its legitimacy (after 2011, when we got OBL) then Biden is responsible for 1.3% of soldiers killed (13/999).
I think we should have withdrawn in December of 2001 with one dead CIA officer.
