Politicians Have No Heart, No Honor

You squawking birds are mute
now that the buzzard has flown in
Taking no notice until we all are destitute
acting as if cold harden statue men

You cowards pretend to bend and weep
as you watch us live in want
Act as if you truly earn your keep
faking caring when you surely don't

Stand frozen as a block of ice
as you allow the enemy to win it
Appease like dimwits playing nice
