Had he lived, Terry Kath would have been 70 years old today. He was the guitarist of the supergroup Chicago.

Drunk and partying, he pointed a gun to his head to show his friends it didn't have a bullet in it. He pulled the trigger and died. He was nearly 32.

Chicago continue on for years after Kath died, but they were never the same, eventually turning into a ballad group (which is about the worst).

Kath was perhaps one of the greatest guitarists to have ever lived. It is said that Jimi Hendrix thought Kath was even better than he (Jimi) was. But since Kath was in a horn band, his talents were not well known. He was also a good vocalist.

RIP.
