Underground Will Chill Eat Into Thy Bones

Death comes, sometimes ends miserable pain,
shatters dark chains that bind the living soul
What of life shall death allow to remain,
Pretty daises in old broken bowl?

Underground will chill eat into thy bones,
Bitter cold still cursing with deep soul aches
Will blowing wind hear thy sad, pleading moans
If ALL thy loved, falls in decay and breaks?

How is one to know, alone in the dark,
JUST AS DEAD AS ALL ANCIENT EARTHLY STONE
IS THERE, NEW CALLING FOR A SAVING MARK
Or merciful light sent there to be shown?

Sun and sky above, on all still give this,
Chance of living love, the dead surely miss!

    Questions Of Love And Life

    Where does lost love hide
in dry deserts filled with pride
    Behind mountains of hard stone
where traces of white are shown?

    Where does love stand aloof
In hot flames of a burning roof
    Beneath stones on cold ground
    within deep thoughts too profound?

Where will hope give dear relief
in dreams that speak of true belief
Upon seashells on a sandy beach
or warm fires within easy reach?

When will man, find life that shall hold
warmth for each from all the cold?
