Before anyone bitches about the source, Fox, the Hill and Politico have apparently deemed it unworthy of coverage.
If there's anyone left to put on trial, they couldn't be in a better country for it. Thais are pretty brutal and sadistic.

That's Singapore. Generally, they will just flat-out kill you any way that strikes them as entertaining at the moment.
Even jarheads and swabbies knew better than to fuck around in Thailand. And if you even looked like you could be a problem, you were going on liberty risk and not getting off the ship even long enough to dip your toes in the water. Stay in the "approved" tourist areas and don't get back up in country at the mercy of their military/police.
They just don't care.
