Not sure how you see that working. They already had it. Prior to Russia's invasion, even after Putin illegally annexed Crimea, there was nor plan nor talk of Ukraine joining NATO. Maybe by the same type knuckleheads talking Texas secession. Europe and the US were hands off as long as the status quo was maintained. The NATO talk began in earnest after Russia invaded.

While the naysayers like to live on the technicality of 'everyone promised XXXX wouldn't join NATO", is not current events enough evidence to support why most Eastern European Nations first move was to join? Their fears of Russia appear to be justified. He's annexed part of Georgia and Ukraine.

    I wouldn't make a deal with him. He's got a serious case of Hitler-envy.

    Just a Reminder,
Ukraine did not have any elections.... for freedom.
    His term ended in May.
But it's all legal and stuff, so it's ok.

But I guess they'll be more freedom & democracy once they defeat Russia?

    By the Way,
Lindsey Graham gives us a few more reasons why we MUST support Ukraine in this war.
US senator says Ukraine is ‘gold mine’ with $12 trillion of minerals ‘we can’t afford to lose’ link
Ukraine is a “gold mine” with $12 trillion worth of critical minerals, US Senator Lindsey Graham insisted in a TV interview. He said the West “can’t afford to lose”, and called to prevent Russia and China from accessing the natural resources.
“They’re sitting on $10 to $12 trillion of critical minerals in Ukraine”, Graham said.
“They could be the richest country in all of Europe. I don’t want to give that money and those assets to Putin to share with China”,
“If we help Ukraine now, they can become the best business partner we ever dreamed of”, Graham continued. “That $10 to $12 trillion of critical mineral assets could be used by Ukraine and the West, not given to Putin and China”.

But Graham can't be right, war is not about OIL... I mean Minerals... it's about FREEDOM & DEMOCRACY.
and Saddam..i mean... PUTIN is evil.

It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties. The freeman of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise, and entangled the question in precedents. James Madison

So you and Graham are only concerned with minerals, huh? Each of you wants to use them for different reasons. Both are nothing more than propaganda.
