It's in the dairy section, most good horseradish is refridgerated. Try there

I mix it with ketchup to make fresh Cocktail Sauce, but it tastes pretty good in a Bloody Mary too...

I'm not sure where it it manufactured but it is common to find in stores in the northwest.

I suppose the best would be to use actual horseradish root and grate it fresh.

    Easily cut in half.
    **********************

1lb Jimmy Dean hot sausage (ground)
    1lb hamburger
    1lb velveta cheese.
1 package deli cocktail size rye bread

Mix the sausage and hamburger together WELL, cook in large frying pan, breaking apart into small pieces. Drain
Mix in cheese to melt, stirring for even distribution...spoon onto deli cocktail size rye bread.

Note: These are heavy...3 can easily kill your appetite or at least take the edge off.
I'd vary the recipe as follows:

    1. Mix the sausage and hamburger together, and roll each into 2-inch long cylinders, about 1/2 inch diameter. Brown in large frying pan and drain.

    2. Fill a long, flat baking pan with crushed crackers or nacho chips (at least 2 pounds worth).

    3. Add the meat cylinders to the baking pan and you now have "cat shit" in a litter box.

Can't follow a recipe (instructions), Huh?

I'll bet you don't play well with others or share either.

Bingo, by far the best but be careful the fresh stuff will take your head off.

That would be cool. So would it be in with the vegetables?

My husband and I go out to dinner during the Super Bowl. It's not difficult to get a table.
