given how American military assets are stretched so thin by our efforts in Iraq, given Bush's loss of political support within NATO because of Iraq, and given the political unrest in Pakistan in the wake of the Bhutto assassination and the defeat of Musharref's party, wouldn't you say that, according to Cordesman,anyway, the chances for victory in Afghanistan are pretty slim?

Neither do you...and the vast majority of them are links to newspapers.... there is no knowing if those links lead to news stories or to editorials... and there is no knowing if those news stories have not been disproven. Some of those links might be credible, but I dismiss the overall report as being incredible and disproven by many other more credible intelligence agencies and reports
