Using the internet to list dates, times, and places of meeting is not 'professional organizing' it's informational. The people that show up are motivated.

Now, when we had the witch hunt for the bankers there were busloads of people sent to protest, paid for their time, provided with not only transportation and cash, but also professionally created/printed signs. That isn't what's happening and trying to 'spin' it as the Democrats are trying to do, is going to lead to problems for them.

On the other hand, having a SS group of data gathering within the umbrella of White House site, IS not only 'professional', paid for by 'everyone's money' and illegal.

Thank you for the list. I found one that will be held less than a mile from my house. I will definitely be there to voice my opinion - that is if there are no ACORN or SEIU people there to lock me out.

If they lock the doors then go through the windows! Im serious! They cannot
be allowed to squash our free speech and our right to assemble.
What are reparations? Making me pay
for something I had nothing to do with compensates no one
who suffered an injustice therefore I would be penalized for

... Except your right of free speech and assembly does not equate to destruction of property.

Go to the town hall meetings. Just don't start shouting and making a scene. Personally, I'm for health care reform, but I would respect the people who disagree with me if they would remain civil. These town hall meetings are not 'protests', they're discussions.

Here's an idea - discuss lovingly. View your competition as humans. Be gentle and kind. Yelling and screaming nonsense and premeditated slogans does not make anyone 'right', it just makes them loud. I don't mind discussing health care, though I am by no means an expert. But if someone came into my house while I was typing right now and starting shouting in my ear how horrible I am, I'd probably stop typing. It doesn't make the shouter right, it just makes them rude. 'Stopping' someone is different from 'being right'.

Where does "their right" to lock citizens out end and the right to question and
or disagree begin and end? Whos rights are most important? Ones right
ceases to end when it trespasses on the rights of someone elses.

I dont recall such an outcry of "mob" when the illegals took to the streets
to demand that our laws not be enforced and the Mexican flag flew over
our flag which was upside down.....which signifies distress and that part
    was right.

Where was the outcry when ACORN stomped and chanted in the streets?
That sure wasnt a loving display. Talk about anger, disrespect and
    mob mentality.....ish!

"Discuss lovingly"???? Are you serious? Why not suggest that to the
politicians in WA who are bought and paid for by lobbyists and special
interest groups and the bill sent to us, the tax payers. Who speaks for
us if we dont? Who makes decisions that are for our best interest???
THAT, is us and politicians are supposed to be doing what we say, not
what they want to do and that goes for the messiah, oh yes, thats still
    called the prez.

If we are a mob, so be it. We have that right as long as long as we dont
    break the law!

Sorry, libruls, we are using your tactics.

Oh, and if that supposed person who came into your house and started yelling
at you would that be a burglar, home invader or a kind and gently neighbor
    who entered illegally? Just wondering!

    One must remember one's history:

    http://www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/teaparty.htm

...The colonists were not fooled by Parliament's ploy. When the East India Company sent shipments of tea to Philadelphia and New York the ships were not allowed to land. In Charleston the tea-laden ships were permitted to dock but their cargo was consigned to a warehouse where it remained for three years until it was sold by patriots in order to help finance the revolution.

In Boston, the arrival of three tea ships ignited a furious reaction. The crisis came to a head on December 16, 1773 when as many as 7,000 agitated locals milled about the wharf where the ships were docked. A mass meeting at the Old South Meeting House that morning resolved that the tea ships should leave the harbor without payment of any duty. A committee was selected to take this message to the Customs House to force release of the ships out of the harbor. The Collector of Customs refused to allow the ships to leave without payment of the duty. Stalemate. The committee reported back to the mass meeting and a howl erupted from the meeting hall. It was now early evening and a group of about 200 men, some disguised as Indians, assembled on a near-by hill. Whopping war chants, the crowd marched two-by-two to the wharf, descended upon the three ships and dumped their offending cargos of tea into the harbor waters.

Most colonists applauded the action while the reaction in London was swift and vehement.
In March 1774 Parliament passed the Intolerable Acts which among other measures closed the Port of Boston. The fuse that led directly to the explosion of American independence was lit....
Funny thing about educated folk, patriotic folk, they do remember how our country was founded. Now they might get an elastic clause wrong here and there, but the 'idea'? They've got it.
