I just told them the truth, and used the word "whore". My FIL said nothing. My MIL responded with an "Oh my!" My teenaged duaghter chimed in with, "At school, the word 'ho' is barely even used as an insult." Yikes!
My husband got away with not having to say anything, so he owes me.
