Default The weird way I met someone

Ask most men and women how they meet the people they date, and you’ll probably hear answers like “through friends,” “online,” “at a party,” or even “my mom set us up; she has better taste than I thought!” Some people, however, find romance in much more surprising places — and their stories are testament to the fact that if you’re looking for love (keeping common sense and safety in mind, of course!), you should always keep your eyes peeled. Don’t believe us? Check out how these readers ended up clinching a date.

    Some listed were:

    Idling on Freeway
    Asked out a bank teller
    Dialing wrong number
    at Fathers eye surgery appointment

    Discriptions at link.

    http://yahoo.match.com/y/article.asp...annerID=831136

All I've ever gotten from wrong numbers was interesting heavy breathing and sexual inuendo. (maybe next time).

Anyone have any stories about stange places you met a boyfriend/girlfriend/date?

Current hubby and I went to school together but didn't really "meet" until one night when I walked out to my car after class and he happened to be parked next to me. My mini-schnauzer was in the car and he noticed and said "I used to have one of those dogs, but my ex-wife got to keep it"...and six months later we were living together...and that was 20 years ago.

Guess what they say about puppies/dogs is true then. Great for attracting the opposite sex

I'm trying to think if I met any of the men I dated any place unusual. Mostly the normal places you would meet a person...school,church,weddings, parties. I'm boring.

I did date my bowling teacher while in college (met him in the school bowling alley)...don't know if that counts as strange though.

There no dating sites in Hell, for Hell is a place of the eternal torture of the damned and a world of fire and a lack of peace according to the Bible. However, there is real Hell on Earth with the wayward dating sites such as a hypocritical eHarmony and many others.Nigerian scamers took them over.

Now...I would think you would like EHarmony...it says right in their rules that in order to participate 1). you can't be married more then twice 2).you must be legally divorced, not seperated... and 3). you can only participate if you are straight.

Even says that 90 people (on average) a day get married. And they provide gift certificates if asked.

Yes Shadow,it was true with eHarmony.Even Neil C.Warren not allowed legally divorced people there according to Christian rules.I heard the story that this so-called family value Neil C.Warren went in Devil's way.Gays offered him $ to run their dating sites using his web.He started accept divorcees and people of other beliefs and atheists.Plus there were cases as Nigerian scamed duped victims by giving their fraudulent images.Neil loved money rather his so-called family values.

    Same-sex couples

Initially eHarmony did not offer same-sex matches, but now it does through its separate service, Compatible Partners.[24] Warren originally explained that he had done extensive research on heterosexual marriage but does not know enough about homosexual relationships to do same-sex match-making which "calls for some very careful thinking. Very careful research."[24] He also noted that eHarmony promotes heterosexual marriage, adding that same-sex marriage is illegal in most states, "We don't really want to participate in something that's illegal."[24] In a separate interview, Warren went into more detail on his own views, noting that "cities like San Francisco, Chicago or New York... they could shut [eHarmony] down so fast. We don't want to make enemies out of them. But at the same time, I take a real strong stand against same-sex marriage, anywhere that I can comment on it."[25]
eHarmony's lack of same-sex matching options prompted lawsuits claiming that eHarmony violated laws prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.[26] As part of the settlement of a New Jersey case,[27] eHarmony launched a partner website called Compatible Partners providing same-sex match-making "for serious couples"[28][29] Theodore B. Olson, an attorney for eHarmony, said that even though the company believed the complaint was "an unfair characterization of our business," it chose to settle because of the unpredictable nature of litigation.[30] In 2010, eHarmony settled a separate class-action lawsuit filed in California that alleged illegal discrimination based on sexual orientation. The company, which did not admit wrongdoing, agreed to allow access to both its gay and straight dating sites with a single subscription, to display its gay dating services more prominently and to establish a settlement fund to pay people who can show they were harmed by the company's policies.[31][32]
Compatible Partners has attracted over 200,000 registrants.[33] Garcia also notes that, like, eHarmony, Compatible Partners attracts high-quality customers: "Because of the price tag and the emphasis on long-term relationships...Compatible Partners' users are seen as quite desirable." [34]

How about we not start up yet another one of your "gay rights" discussions. We have enough of them already. Thanks.

People used sexy images that were not actually themselves to attract the opposite sex?? Shocking!! Why that is false advertizing.

I read it.Neil C.Warren had his constitutional rights to refuse gays do to his beliefs in God,no matter what those queers wanted of him through courts. It is still freedom in America. The thing was GLBT activists showed him fat sum of $ that he will allow them to run their dating place on his web.He had a total freedom to refuse them and reject their money. He loved money rather than God and God's life values.Love of money is a root of all evils. So Warren defecated his once so-called Christian dating site into a run down toilet where gays, legal adulterers(divorced)non-Christians,and scamers do their business.Neil Warren is a hypocrite. That's sad.
