Sentence one is an interpretation. What's true is that I accused Jim of not valuing women's contributions because he continually inserts men into topics that aren't about men.

In fact in the thread regarding a VP pick a MAN brought up Condoleza Rice as a possible candidate for the position.

I would suggest you take a day off from posting and read through the sight, it might give you an insight on some of the other posters. I know you won't do this, but that's my suggestion anyway.

I shouldn't tell any stories to illustrate my views. No man EVER beat me. One neighbor threatened me and shoved me so hard so that I fell and was injured, the other smacked my arm. The only person who ever beat me was my foster parent/ my fraternal aunt when I was a child.

I lived in the city most of my life and never had a problem until moving to rurual Northern California.

I'm just telling these stories for context and to be honest, to justify some of my own biases. I don't pretend to be unbiased. I've been very fortunate to have close personal friends of color who have helped me get over some of my racial fears.

I live in rural Northern California and everyone out here has guns. We are constantly shooting varmits, however, I've never, ever had a problem with the neighbors. Well, except the guy next door, when his pitbull came into my yard and charged me. I told him point blank I would kill it the next time it came in my yard. He now keeps it fenced in. That's how we deal with problems in our neighborhood.
