It was MY point of view, that this was meant as a humorous thread, I believe even said so by the thread starter. Or at least meant as light hearted I believe. I never said you could discuss one and not the other. My point was that it didn't seem like the thread was intended to discuss the history of either or. And when I said "this isn't a thread to discuss Buddha", that simply means that I don't think the thread was intended for such. That's not me telling you what you can and cannot post. If anyone did such, it would be you, who told me the discussion was over because you didn't like my reply. Stop being a victim and just continue posting whatever you like.

Not too often. Instead of saying I don't have enough knowledge, I should have said "I don't have enough interest in the subject to comment on which was more intelligent."

Having been deeply involved in something I had intimate knowledge which was written about in an article posted online by a prominent newspaper followed by dozens of comments from anonymous posters after the article, I came to the conclusion that 99% of people know jackshit about the topic on which they are commenting. I also concluded that the press wasn't much better.
