Starting new aquarium

The betta's are cool, but too mainstream. But most do underestimate them, and see them like colorful gold fish. But if you put 2 males together, they really will fight to the death!

`It dont take long for them to wipe out gold fish and minnows .....I had a few before I knew what they were about...Ya..the males will fight but they hate other fish also...Had to put the bettas in separate bowels....a pain..no more of those fish...at least peronnas got along...

I got a few pictures, but not great as it's hard to get the little buggers to stop swimming.

Here's the latest. I put some larger plants towards the front. They are still a bit hesitant to go all the way to the top to eat and prefer to wait for it to sink. They are shy eaters for now. Behind the plant they go all the way up though. They love the bunch of plants, but it's going to be a pain in the but when it comes time to clean the gravel and I need to take it all out, and put it back in. All the time I spent getting the little bastards to trust me will go down the drain!
