I'll try and build a few of those. Mosquitoes are not bad at all up there after I inadvertently built an insect mass-destruction device involving a big stack of cedar siding and covering it with visqueen during the winter, and that spring I found literally billions of dead insects underneath the visqueen - they crawled in there for some reason (cedar aroma?) and then cooked from the sun. The layer of dead bugs was about 4" thick, 6' wide and 10' long. It wiped them all out, it was beautiful.
But, the local population is making a comeback, slowly but surely. Something like a bat colony would put a stop to that.
