The Last Man On Earth (1964) - Full Movie

`Based on the chilling Richard Matheson science fiction Classic "I am Legend" and later remade as "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston. This classic features Vincent Price as scientist Robert Morgan in a post apocalyptic nightmare world. The world has been consumed by a ravenous plague that has transformed humanity into a race of bloodthirsty vampires. Only Morgan proves immune, and becomes the solitary vampire slayer.`

    I enjoyed this Movie:

`Panic In The Year Zero (1962) American Nuclear Holocaust [full movie`

    Synopsis

Ray Milland both starred in and directed the morose, minimalist sci-fier Panic in the Year Zero! (original title: Panic in Year Zero!).

*En route from Los Angeles to a vacation in the mountains, Harry Baldwin (Milland), his wife, Ann (Jean Hagen), and his teen-aged children, Rick (Frankie Avalon) and Karen (Mary Mitchell), are appalled to see a mushroom cloud forming over the L.A. skyline.

...With the highways clogged by panicking motorists, Milland and his family decide to head to the shelter of their fishing spot, there to wait until more news about the nuclear disaster is available. Everywhere they drive, however, the family is confronted by rampaging looters, heavily armed survivalists, and doped-up motorcycle punks.

Attempting to remain calm and collected in the face of Armageddon, Milland ends up as violent and animalistic as everyone else. Though it avoids proselytizing for the most part, Panic in the Year Zero! does fall back on the old reliable "The Beginning" fadeout title. The most powerful aspect of the film is the "normalcy" ofMilland's family: we are made to feel throughout that what happens to them could very well happen to us, and how then would we react?

Default Count Of Monte Cristo Full Movie

A Love story of Love and Revenge...A+
.....James Caviezel stars as Edmond Dantes, an honest sailor who plans to marry his beautiful lover Mercedes (Dagmara Dominczyk). Edmond doesn't know that his best friend Fernand Mondego (Guy Pearce) secretly desires Mercedes for himself and schemes with fallen aristocrat Villefort (James Frain) to frame Edmond for a crime he didn't commit.

Sentenced to life on the remote island prison of D'If, Edmond becomes consumed by plans for revenge. Thirteen years pass and he meets a fellow innocent convict, Abbe Faria (Richard Harris), who becomes Edmond's mentor in swordfighting, finance, and escape, confiding that a vast treasure awaits a discoverer on the island of Monte Cristo.

*Eventually, Edmond is able to get away using Faria's tunnels and makes his way to Monte Cristo, where he retrieves the fortune and uses it to make himself over as the wealthy "Count of Monte Cristo." With the help of a loyal sidekick (Luis Guzman), Edmond insinuates himself into French royalty and sets about getting revenge on Villefort and Fernand, who is now married to Mercedes. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) also stars Michael Wincott and Albie Woodington. `

It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties. The freeman of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise, and entangled the question in precedents. James Madison

I know this isn't all that old but evertime I think of old movies this one comes to mind, I use to love this movie.

For those that don't know it, it was all about street gangs in NY. They all meet to try and unite and one of them shoots the guy trying to unite them and then frames one of the Warriors, saying he did it, the movie shows them trying to get back home and all the other gangs trying to get revenge on them.

Just to add some trivia ... I lived in Turkey from ages 2-4. I had no idea what TV was. I spent half a day in a motel room in NYC figuring out what stoplights were for when we first cam back to the world. Gunsmoke and the Rifleman and Major Adams were just too cool for me. Wanted Dead or Alive and Rawhide were next.

I never liked Bonanza nor anything comparable in the hokey department. Once Pernell Roberts left, that show was done.

    Bump!
Y'think? Try getting a young brat to watch a B&W movie. This is Jim's board, not mine. If he's cool with it, you don't have a problem. I was merely offering advice. Sucks up a lot of bandwidth to post an entire movie.

    I love old, B&W movies. Half the ones I actually own are 20s , 30s or 40s.
