    I say:

    Use nuclear for power plants.

Develop electric cars that perform at the speed/power of today's gas-powered cars.

    Problem solved.

    I stand corrected. I figgered 30 days/ month, 12 months/ year.

I was thinking earlier that it might be possible to develop magnetic induction drives on major highways. A cable embedded in the lane would pulse an electromagnetic field at the speed of the roadway, and cars would have an electomagnet in the chassis to follow the field. They could use normal power to enter the lane, accellerate, and brake, but otherwise tool along at a set speed. A chip in the car would identify it to the road, and the owner of the road would send a monthy invoice based on the number of miles travelled on the system. The advantage would be that battery power, historically the limitation on electric cars, would not be required for high speed, long distance travel.

Cold Fusion. If we could ever harness Cold Fusion. Or antimatter. There is so much power in antimatter, we don't even know how to contain it.

We need to merge this thread with the polar bear one.

What we should do is hunt the polar bear into extinction, thus sparing it from drowning and starvation, then when the seal population explodes from lack of predatory pressure, we can drill for oil in the heads of baby seals!

Baby seals = renewable energy source--PROBLEM SOLVED!

I don't see how they can claim this when we haven't even begun to explore the ruso-asian tundra, the Sahara, or the Oceans.

I think the article is based in fact, but not all the facts. There may be a little fear mongering in it.

It's a bunch of gore worshiping greenies trying to prop up the gore ideology
When I die I'm sure to go to heaven, cause I spent my time in hell.

You get more with a kind word and a two by four, than you do with just a kind word.

How's that? Just asking... I don't get the connection.
