Abhorrent treatment of women!

I get very annoyed when I hear about how some religions treat women.
I find it unbelievable that, in the 21th century, there are still religious sects that believe in segregation of men and women. And that women should not be seen in public. And should not be allowed to look men in the eye.
Girls should not expect an education, as they are only fit for a life of servitude to their husband. And them, only as long as their husband wants them. Since women are not as worthy as cattle.

So what religion is it that allows, even condones, such abhorrent treatment of women?
Of course, it is Orthodox Judaism.

Orthodox women are free to be educated
They can hold Jobs
They can drive cars
They can go out without being escorted
They can talk to men or women of their choosing
They can be Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Business owners and any profession they choose.
They don't have to wear a veil or burqa
They have equal protection under the Law

They are allowed to Vote

Oh... and if you are referring to the ULTRA-ULTRA Orthodox sects in Israel..Know that the majority of Orthodox and Reformed Jews in Israel find them to be crackpots.
