We Curse This Ancient World In Our Great Pain

As we walk blindly into the dark night,
lit candles thrown away, denying sight
We climb up, onto great high cliffs to fall
heeding nothing not even warning call

We curse this ancient world in our great pain
we eat misery and embrace our pain
Yet in dark despair, we hope and we pray
each sad night, morn we wake to a new day!

In darkness, our souls find so little rest
we wonder forth but its only a test
To ever changing earth we are thus bound
    living in nothing, parading around

What of Fate and our love's greatest treasures
we seek solace in our simple pleasures
Begging only for return of clear morn
OUR ONLY HOPE, AGAIN TO BE REBORN

Yet coming dawns bring anew, hope and prayers
to divine guidance that loves, truly cares
In our sad rooms, we often beg to dance
YET WE OFTEN FIND, LIFE IS BUT MERE CHANCE

Then Winter Lonely Fallows Deeply Dream

Long after that ripe golden sunset gleam
    Cool silvery tones, wavering light;
Then winter lonely fallows deeply dream
Into the grayish ghostliness of night.

Far off, yet looming bold and strangely near,
Within starry heavens they are aureoled,
    Forested mountain-ranges far westward rear
Their high guardian towers as of old.

And lo! above their ancient stormy deeps,
In pensive grandeur, icy frozen browed,
One glorious forest summit there keeps
Transcendent vigil alone, pure and proud.

And we who see that shining symbol turn
    A moment's while from its lone transient mood;
From that brief moment we clearly discern
Our lost souls within Nature's solitude.

Come To Me Love, So That Tender Heart Swells

Gone, our days dancing in the splashing rain
Awaiting the great mists of transcending time
My love, you taught me to ride a hurricane
Within the mind, a storm blasts out flashes
Consider the moment you wake this coming morn
Walking streets paved with nameless stones
Grains of sand, pretending to be boulders
Cool winds grace the soft emerging twilight
Memories of crossing fires and true romance
Hold my loving hand gently in your hand
Your gold hair hung just right on your shoulders
Thou art bright crimson-in rose red-lit bloom

Those sounds that now arrive in early morn
Those were golden days of splendor
Sit beside this gentle flowing stream
    Morning dew glistens in anticipation
When I slumber where rushing waters play
River laps softly, a rainbow sings
Once I sought but love ran away
Climbing that hill, your heart within my soul
Hears that whisper, lovers in epic romance
You are my life, longing for you
The view, where led that path not taken
Who knew your forever was, a lover's query

Yet hope promises a new dawn each day
Dawn burst forth, earth was drinking its new rain
Goddess of my passion two hearts a'praying
Sunshine embraces my soul, drinking from mercy's cup
In sky's thundering heart, weeping for your sweet hand
We are but a mere blink, Fall sets to turn
Huge blue eyes that speak, seek fairness and love
On the high mountaintop I see the stars
We walked the night sands, moon shining down
Nights so love-locked in your arms, fill up a scroll
Caressing virgin soil, with soft caring hands
I am laid bare, naked with nothing to hide

Walking, Soft Dirt Road On This Moonlit Night

Walking, soft dirt road on this moonlit night
welcoming shadows flying forth to meet
This cool breeze flowing, all seems just so right
fireflies dancing about make it so sweet

Wrapped in love's deepest romantic embrace
earth and life gifts joys of blessings and grace

Midnight sun, beams yellow streams on this soul
with light bounced in soft colored hues
Left behind, worries of wealth, lofty goals
treading barefoot free of cumbersome shoes

Wrapped in love's deepest romantic embrace
earth and life gifts joys of blessings and grace

Majestic oak, turn back spot up ahead
oft sad to not further explore new lanes
Sleep bellows out, so soon time for soft bed
seek shelter from the coming heavy rains

Wrapped in love's deepest romantic embrace
earth and life gifts joys of blessings and grace

Tip Your Hat, Give Pretty Gals Wink And Nod

Summon up courage to yet again plod
When worldly sorrow has cut in bone deep
Tip your hat, give pretty gals wink and nod
Fear not dawn's coming when you dare to sleep

Hold your course, tho' thunder bellows and roars
Walk with brave heart and a mighty big stick
Look forward to fortune's wide open doors
And step carefully, this world is full of tricks

Eat your meals with gratitude and kind heart
For blessings arrive when goodness prevails
Settle for dear peace and its calm course chart
Seek honor, see the darkness it repels

With truth and courage as your steady shields
Find life's bounty and dearest joy it yields

In Dreams, Pearly Jewels Around Her Throat

She returns in dreams, pearly jewels around her throat
summer's heat or winter's cold- always dressed to slay
diamonds fall as she sings in her soft and gentle way
I hear, saddest echoes of love-poems, that I ever wrote!

What of that paradise that only in a dream is now known
wet touch of willing lips and I want you in her eyes
radiance of red roses, kisses under moonlit skies
O' such wondrous fruits, her time away has grown!

Always she brings sweet aura's from her hidden home
renewed virginal images, promises we once truly held
before that dark night, one that our love, tragically felled
and into that realm, her dear soul now has to roam!

She returns in dreams, pearly jewels around her throat
summer's heat or winter's cold- always dressed to slay
diamonds fall as she sings in her soft and gentle way
I hear, saddest echoes of love-poems, that I ever wrote!

As time goes by, I see it as the past
but my mind says, take it as it comes
My body, however, says it belongs in a cast
I think I'll go forward and try to stay plumb

They say time waits for no one
    I'm sure that means me
But to dwell on the hearwithall
    Can surely drag to knee

    Myself I'll drudge onward
    Eyes to the sky
For the thoughts of the dredges
Surely will not get me the prize

Virgin Pure, Untouched By Evil In Men

Where sun has fallen down in land so fair
hides a lone tombstone hidden in woods deep.
Death had caught a beauty so very fair,
that all three - Sun, sky and wind sadly weep.

Shining, in bloom of youth and quite carefree
she of the forest glen had Nature's love.
Her tender heart she had given to me,
now her heart and sweet soul rests far above.

Weeping willows, pond where white flowers thrive
I see her wading its magical scenes.
Dear mercy! If only she were alive
instead of buried there, in her late teens!

In night dreams, I see her in forested glen.
Virgin pure, untouched by evil in men.
