    I reject both….

I like history based on verifiable facts myself.

So you have verified every fact you believe about history? Yourself? Personally? I reject your impossible claim.

What about facts which are correct but which only tell half the story? WHat about facts which come out later and reveal something different? Do you factor those in, or just keep believing what you previously believed?

What about them? How would you know its ½ unless you research?

New facts add to history, they may or may not change the overall event.

Many times opinion and beliefs change with more facts.
Only idiots and liberals shut their eyes to the reality that new facts may reshape history.

Simple. Research the topic from varying sources and find the common denominators.

Facts that are later disclosed and verified should naturally be included, and if it alters my stance on a given topic so be it.

    ITA.

One thing that boggles the mind with me though, is even knowing the age-old axiom "those who do not learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them," we preat them nonetheless.

But I don't put much credence in it being the product of conspiracy.

Oh there are conspiracies. I dont doubt that. Thankfully most of them are too stupid to get off the ground.

Id hardly call them conspiracies by the elites though. Heck id hardly call anyone in power elite. They are just the ones who are so arrogant and willing to do what it takes to get into power.
