“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

That's because you're old enough to have been taught these things in school. Young people taking the exam today need time to look up answers on wikipedia so it probably does take them 2.5 hours.
If you ever watch PragerU videos online you'll know who Will Witt is. I guarantee you'll be horrified at what millenials don't know about US history and the constitution. He'll go on college campuses and ask basic questions...who did we fight against in Civil War, who was our first president, etc. Stupid, stupid answers.
Kids today want socialism because they are not taught history. They have too many social justice classes.
We knew you would do well. You know history forward and backward, Kath.

I got a dynamite book on AZ history from the library. It was 'non-circulating,' and in a locked room. Going up the stairs I told the librarian it was for the test for teaching endorsement. She allowed me to check it out! I read it in one night, took notes the next day. Fascinating! Progressive and Manifest Destiny, Confederacy, Apaches and so much more. So cool!
I wasn't concerned about the US Constitution, I taught it for 10 years and have 5 master level classes on government, 2 on the Constitution itself. LOL! AZ gave me pause, but only 30 out of 100 questions on that.
I'm going to be studying more in depth on Arizona history, it's so very different than IL.
