That is the WRONG appeal to my emotions Let's see ... the most popular ideal has been pay off our parents' debts, and pay off our debt so our children have no debt. Sound about right? A debt that is NEVER paid off regardless promise.
Seems to me we could pay off the debt with as little discomfort as possible if some fiscal responsibility was applied. And I'm not picking on either side specifically because each is as guilty as the other. We just get to hand over however much they say.
I was just curious if anyone heard more about it. As is obvious, it's not a closed-end promise. I want to hear the "dark side".
