then dumb and silent we may be led,
like sheep to the slaughter.

One of my favorite Pink songs
If the freedom of speech is taken away

like sheep to the slaughter.

18 U.S. Code § 2381-Treason Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
Tom Petty's beautiful song , Southern Accents, brings tears to my eyes--
no way can I ever listen to it and not think of my father.
A man Southern born, Southern bred and now these fifty-one years dead..
A huge part of that song, is a huge part of my life lived when wild , young, even a bit crazy.
Listening to it now. Screen is a bit blurry.
Ah well, reminds me that life is so very precious
and this worldly life is so very fleeting.
As I pray, some day in Heaven he and I will be meeting...
And welcome my dear son he will say..
I have with joyous grace,
and deep gratitude welcomed this coming day..... RJL.
